Paul's desperation to know and become like Christ is clearly expressed in these verses! His reason is simple: he wants a spiritual and moral resurrection, as expressed in the Amplified Version!
Today, this verse reminds me of Philippians 1:9-11, which I see as a prayer for my loved ones. To me, Philippians 3:10 could also be a prayer for our loved ones. I don't know, I just sense a desperation in Paul in verses 10-11 to really, deeply know Christ.
I have to ask myself? Do I have this same desire? Yes, I pray Philippians 1:9-11 for my family and loved ones, but have I prayed it for MYSELF? I fear not.
But, all is not lost! Our next post will show you why! Take heart, my dear reader!

Studio Tour Part 4 - Organizing Miscellaneous Supplies
I hope you're enjoying my Studio Tour! It's fun to read your comments and learn how you organize your space!
Thus far we've covered fabric storage, organizing those miscellaneous cuts of fabric and my amazing purchase of a "bit" of embroidery floss!
Today I want to show you how I organize the slightly larger supplies that some sewists keep in stock.
This means a revisit to my rolling storage drawers. If you notice, I label a lot of items. For me, it's a necessity because if "I can't see it, it doesn't exist."
Here's where I store my bits of adhesive, Velcro, and rope that I use for the kiddo's drawstring toy bags.
Looking at this drawer, there are things in there I haven't touched in a while....perhaps time for a good purging.
I love this drawer to contain my purse hardware!
Everyone has a button drawer/box or something, right?
Here is where I keep things that need to be framed as well as precious mementos. See my son's shoe peeking out at you? Hmmm....that pattern from my chemotherapy days should probably be donated! I probably embroidered the piece on top in 1983. That's my son when he was 1, I think?
Here's the crocheted piece underneath.
I copied it many years ago from a pillow my husband's grandmother had crocheted. The "gallo" (rooster) is special to us. Like most babies, my husband would wake at the crack of dawn crying, so my father-in-law dubbed him, "El gallito" (Little Rooster). I really should frame those two pieces!
