Weekly Word: He WILL Heal Us + Books, Stitches and Gratitude!
Hello there!
I hope you all are doing well! This week has flown by with visits with with friends, Bible Studies, helping a friend reorganize her sewing area and even teaching a another friend to make green chile chicken enchiladas!
Next week will be much quieter as I prepare for surgery. My hubby and I are hoping for a day trip to the mountains to just breathe and enjoy nature.

Weekly Word: Joy Comes in the Morning + Books, Stitches and Gratitude!
Hello there!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I appreciate the time you spend here and hope you are blessed in some way!
Every day this week I've spent at least five to six hours visiting with friends and grandchildren. We also experienced a major victory over cancer which I joyfully share in my Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer article.

Weekly Word: Unto To Thee + Stitching and Gratitude This Week!
Hello there!
Here in Las Cruces, out temps have been over 100 degrees! We now make sure our errands are completed by 11:00 am! I'm also adding an extra, 5 minute run of our sprinkler system at dusk. Whew!
I have to say I'm still enjoying having a retired husband at home! We're going on 8 weeks and still loving it! True story: when he would go to work after a week or so at home, I'd shed a few tears as he drove off. Yes, after 42 years, I'd still miss him.
I hope you enjoy this post as you find encouragement in the Weekly Word, learn how I've backslid in my reading habits, joined a new BOM and found gratitude in the every day.
Thank you so much for popping in!

Weekly Word: Healing + Stitching and Gratitude This Week!
Hello there!
Wow! Next week our forecast is for lows in the 70's and highs in the 100's! I guess it's time to go to my summer schedule: errands done before 10:00 am and home for the rest of the day! I've been adding mint leaves to my water for that extra bit of freshness.
Our grandchildren and my daughter taught us how to use the Alexa machine to call my parents. My husband and I had a wonderful visit with them this morning. It was good to see them.
I'm reading a book (see My Reading Life) that made me wonder what we choose to do with our emotional/mental pain? Do we sit with it and take time to process? Do we go to our Heavenly Father? Do we pack it in a box and stuff it away? Do we deny it? I'm addressing that very topic in our Weekly Word.

Weekly Word: Curve Balls + Stitching and Gratitude This Week!
Hello there!
Thank you so much for visiting! I hope you enjoy this week's post filled with God's Word, books, fiber projects, a fiber stash report and a bit of likes and gratitude from this week!
Speaking of this week, let us pray for everyone affected by the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas. I have to move on from this topic. Emotions run deep.
My recently retired hubby and I are adjusting to our new non-schedules by enjoying slow mornings and relaxing evenings on the patio filled with good conversation, our favorite music and some slow stitching. Thus far, this transition into a new era of our lives has been kind of wonderful.
However we all know life can throw curve balls as well.

Weekly Word: Keeping My Mind Stayed on Him Plus My Reading, Stitching and Gratitude This Week!
Hello there!
I know your time is precious, so I appreciate you taking time to pop in! How was your week? Are you enjoying some beautiful spring weather?
Last week I knew surgery would soon be approaching, so I scheduled play dates with days to rest afterwards. I visited my local library (support those local libraries!) and had a morning Bible study with a new friend. So, it was an active week! This week there was little time for hobbies or blogging! I even forgot to link up to some of my regular parties! 😮
I'm grateful to have had those days, however, as my surgery is scheduled for this Thursday! So, let's move on with this blog so I can fill you in!

Weekly Word: Written on Stone. Plus My Reading, Stitching and Gratitude This Week!

Hello There,
Thank you for stopping by for a visit! Here's a little blog housekeeping snafu I just discovered. Perhaps it will help you as well. I usually just delete all my SPAM messages, but tonight I went through them and found tons of comment emails there! I'm sorry to those of you whose comments got lost in that file! I am working on posting them as well as answering your kind comments. Please, bloggers, learn from my mistake. Check your SPAM file before you press "delete all SPAM." 😉
The Weekly Word is a bit different this week as I'm adding an extremely basic tutorial as to how to make a stone altar using what I'm calling "testimony stones." For those of you who prefer, you can simply write encouraging, uplifting messages on them.
Take good care, my sweet Readers! I'm looking forward to catching up with you!

Weekly Word: Two Are Better Than One, Plus My Reading, Stitching and Gratitude This Week!
I hope you all had a fabulous week! Mine started off rough with a few days of illness, hence this post will be abbreviated as I lost a few days to sleep and recovery. However, I am fine now, thank God! It's amazing how quickly we can recover if we listen to our bodies, give it the rest it needs and then take life slowly as we recover!
