Saturday's Song: The Broken Beautiful. Slow Stitching. Stash Report

Saturday's Song:  The Broken Beautiful
Here is an upbeat song with a deep message:
God's love will never change.
There's healing in His Name.
He makes broken things beautiful!

Have you been broken?
I know I have.
I bet you have as well.

My dear, you are beautiful when you turn it all over to God!

Do you feel shame?
He took all that on Himself for you.

Are you scarred?
Well, if His scars are the evidence of healing, mine must be as well!
I'll never look at my chemotherapy port scar the same again!

Take a listen.
Believe.
Smile.
Trust.
Receive.
Raise your hands and dance in praise to our precious Savior!
Go ahead!

Slow Stitching
Well, here we go!  My finger is finally healing enough for me to crochet, so, hopefully, today I'll be finishing up my green flowers for the Spring Granny Square afghan!

This blue yo-yo flower is attached complete with its white yo-yos.
I also hope to make some more white yo-yo's to continue Row 2 of my Yo-Yo Quilt with this yellow/orange flower!
Here's the progress on my Still Stitching project.

Stash Report
No fabric/yarn in!  Yea!  Now that classes have finished at my LQS, Be Sew Creative, the temptation has been neutralized!

I have finished the Oreo Orca so that was a bit of fabric out!  I'll be showing it next week!
No change in yarn stats.

  3. Hi, Patricia!
I've never seen such beautiful crochet. Your artwork is superb. In the last 11 months, I had two knees replaced and know that our God heals. I am so thankful for His many touches on my life.

    Love,
    Mary

  4. When I read your post, I realized I turn it over daily but maybe I need to let go. Glad finger is getting better because as I do, I know how enjoyable it is to be able to crochet and knit and sew. Great therapy. Thanks for sharing with Sunday Scripture Blessings.

  5. Yay, you're able to crochet! That's wonderful healing. I'm still impressed your fabric totals are almost even. Thanks for the song. Yep, been broken more than once. Thanks for a Savior who takes on all my grief and pain and illness, not just the sins. =)

    1. Yes! I still have to be careful, but I can crochet! Yay is right! Yes, working on those fabric numbers! Once my Spring Granny Afghan is finished, that will help the yarn numbers as well! Yes, so many times we focus on how He forgives our sins, but He does so much for us! Thank you for stopping by and commenting!
