Dancing. Still Waters. Slow Stitching Sunday.

Dancing.
My husband and I went to a party last night.  To prepare for this event, I took a long nap.  Then off we went!
It was wonderful!  The band was phenomenal!  The company was fun loving!  The desert sunset was filled with hues of oranges and yellows.  Amazing!
I was able to dance three songs!!  Take that neuropathy and fibromyalgia!  I felt young and free again!  Thank you, Jesus!

Still Waters.
But, alas, Sunday brought still waters, resting and smiling at last night’s memories.

Slow Stitching Sunday.
Consequently, I achieved very little progress on my Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt.  But, I’m really trying to have a positive attitude and be grateful for whatever progress I did make.  Despite all this, I’m still linking up over at Kathy’s Quilts Slow Stitching Sundays.  Hop on over and have a gander! In fact, my experience lines up perfectly with her message today!

  1. I love this pattern quilt, but I can not finish, I have several ready waiting for the amendment.

  2. Slow sewing maybe, but worth it for those three dances. :-)

  3. Absolutely! After all that dancing and celebrating, some slow relaxing stitches was just what you needed to recover!
