Saturday's Song: Oh My Soul. Slow Stitching. Stash Report. A New QAL!

Saturday's Song:  Oh My Soul
Someone who knows part of my story said they were angry at God on my behalf.  They wouldn't blame me if I lost my faith...and I have on occasion...many occasions.....
Until it didn't.
What changed?
My heart.
I finally let Him in.

And I was right to do so.
Because today my life overflows with
joy,
peace,
love,
giggles,
faith,
trust,
healing
and so much more!

Would you consider letting Him in?
I promise you -
it's right to do so.

Slow Stitching
This Sunday I plan to make some more white yo-yos so I can add another flower this week. I auditioned this flower, but I think it's too dark.  We'll see which flower ends up there.
Any opinions would be welcomed!

Here's the progress on my Still Stitching project.

Also, I decided to join many of you at Life In Pieces by Kate!  The goal is to sew every day for at least 15 minutes a day.
So, this week I managed to sew 6/7 days and wow!  A lot is getting done!

15 minutes stitching days/week = 6/7 days
15 minutes stitching days/since July 29, 2018 = 6/7 days
Success Rate = 85%

  1. Keeping track of your sewing time does help to get things done. Good luck with it!

  2. OH, I love your stitching. What a wonderful way to meditate on truths and get them into your heart! With the goal of being recklessly abandoned to and completely sold out to the Lord, I find my rest in Him, as He is trustworthy with all outcomes.

    1. Thank you! I'm not sure how "pretty" it will be at the end of one year, but it sure will be a testimony! :) I praise God for your faith and goal! That is awesome! Thank you for sharing!

  5. I love Casting Crowns. A young friend introduced me to their music several years ago. This is a great song. You did well in your stitching days! You brought in less than you used, so that's a positive note. =) I think that new hexagon flower might fit in with the other colors, just not right in that spot. It's too much like the green to the right of it, but the pink below brings out pink tones in it, so maybe it can go next to something else and look just right.
