Let's remember:
One thing remains:
His love never, ever fails.
Live fearlessly,
with the confidence that
You. Are. Loved.
I've made a bit of progress on Prayer Shawl #7 which I carry in my Crochet in Public bag by Whistle and Ivy!
as well as the Maria's Blue Crayon Spring Granny Afghan.
Today I will be cutting the last bits and bobs to finish the Felt Advent Calendar. Here is an unedited version of my work table.....fun stuff! :)
I love and am so grateful to God for my work spaces!!
Stash Report
I'm still revamping my report methods. Here's my new "accounting page".
I like using a plain spiral notebook because it's portable and I can easily check progress. Also, lately, God has been speaking to me about keeping things simple and this is one way to do so.
It's only February and I've already used 22 yards of fabric! I'm thinking I'll make it to 100 yards this year!
My stash addition was 10 fat quarters by Benartex for a mere $12 - $1.20 a piece at Tuesday Morning! My daughter taught me about being able to find quilt quality fabric for a song there.
While I get 99% of my fabric at my LQS, I certainly will pick up deals like these when I find them!

Being that I'm working on larger yarn projects, I may not have any yarn used for a while. Prayer Shawl #7 should be finished soon, so that will help my figures.

You make my day with your comments!
I love reading and responding to them!
Great numbers and very pretty additions.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm really trying to sew 100 yards this year!
DeleteBeautiful shawl and for a good cause. My Slow Sunday Stitching was also crochet for elderly that live alone.
ReplyDeleteOh! How lovely! Heading over to your blog to visit! Great idea! Thank you for sharing!
DeleteI am trying to not purchase any fabric, but I'll have to check out my local Tuesday Morning store. I hear they sometimes have nice yarn too. The prayer shawl is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI certainly understand about not wanting to purchase any more fabric! I'm purchasing only because my LQS has a lot on sale for 50% off - great price for backings! However, I'm also trying to use what I have for the most part. Yes, I'll be going to Tuesday Morning more often. I did see some nice yarn, but resisted - for now! :)
DeleteI have never heard of Slow Sunday Stitching but I am moving slow on a lovely little hat for my soon-to-be niece or nephew!
ReplyDeleteI so enjoy the link up at Kathy's Quilts because it never fails to inspire me! I hope you link up one Sunday! Are you knitting, crocheting or sewing the little hat? Would love to see it! Congratulations on your new niece or nephew! :)
DeleteI like your crochet prayer shawl. It's just beautiful. I have made a few of them but I knit them using a knit 3, pearl 3 pattern.
ReplyDeleteHow interesting! I'm trying to learn how to knit - a friend is teaching me every Thursday night. I really like how the drape of knitted garments! Do you knit 3 stitches, purl 3 stitches? Or is it knit 3, purl 3 rows? At this point, I'm making dishcloths, so I could practice using your pattern. :)
DeleteWhat a lovely prayer shawl. Your numbers of using fabric this week is very good. You should have no trouble reaching your 100 yards. I'm aiming for 200 yards from my stash with no buying fabric. I'd better get going to reach mine.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words! Wow! 200 yards from your stash alone! Awesome goal - I'm sure you'll make it happen!
DeletePretty prayer shawl and KIP bag, too. Love your acquisitions from Tuesday Morning. And I love that vid of that worship song!
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy! Lots of love going around! Isn't the blogging world wonderful? :)
DeleteI loved this song, from beginning to end! I've heard it before, but I don't always understand all the words, so it's great being able to read the lyrics and meditate on them. Thanks for sharing at Spiritual Sundays! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed the song! I, too, sometimes struggle to understand the words! Your link up is wonderful and I so appreciate you hosting! Thank you!
