Surgery
Well, I had the cataract surgery this afternoon.  I wasn't as freaked out as I thought I'd be!  Yea!

I found this on Pinterest....I realize it's not a source to be cited, but I couldn't find the original author.  Either way, it made me smile!

Here is this month's $7.50 Club Block

Yes, my finished block could be pressed better - and it was.  Somehow the contents of my purse attacked it!

Isn't the quilting community awesome? Thank you for your input on my crazy quilt blocks.

I still have some time to ponder....while I finish my Leader/Ender......

Here's A Thought! Crazy Quilt + a Question

Here's A Thought.
Look what was in my Pinterest feed!

Isn't this a neat little helper? It is now my desktop background!

Thank you, Ally, from The Modern Mary!

Crazy Quilt!
Remember when I though I had finished my first leader/ender blocks?  Well, I then started a new leader/ender project - a Crazy Quilt!  Here are the first three blocks!

I'm using the a foundation paper pieced method - until I started having to remove the paper.  Even with the smaller stitch length it. was. not. fun.  Ug.

Then I thought about using muslin....but not sure if muslin foundation blocks would play nice with my paper pieced blocks.

I found this method from Patchwork Posse on my Pinterest Quilting - Quilt Tutorials and Ideas.

Would any of you have advice to offer?  I'm really loving these blocks and would like to settle on a method before I continue....

Thank you in advance!
