I Like Thursday! Finished Prayer Shawl!

I Like! Thursdays
You may want to have a cup of coffee or tea for these "I Likes" that are centered around one of my favorite restaurants - Le Rendezvous - a locally owned restaurant/French pastry shop.
These decorations always draw my eye....
but oh!
Their pastries are beyond delicious!

Here's what we ended up taking home....
And yes, we enjoyed every bite!

Prayer Shawl #7
I finally finished Prayer Shawl #7!
I love the texture of the stitch!
My husband cuddled up with it before I washed it and gave his stamp of approval for "snuggliness"!

I used a 2 1/2 skeins of Caron Cakes yarn.  I like how the shawls come out with this yarn using a horizontal pattern.

    1. Wow! I can't believe we're using the same yarn! Yes, I also enjoy seeing a new color emerge! Yes, that's why my husband fell in love with that pattern. Thank YOU for hosting the I Like link up!

  2. What a pretty prayer shawl! I like that pattern and trust it will keep someone very warm. And such sunny colors! And your pastries look delicious. There's a patisserie in Houston near where one of my work collaborators lives and every time I go visit her I insist on visiting it. I've avoided seeking them out here since once I know where good ones are I'm afraid I'd visit too often!

    1. Thank you! I'm hoping the recipient will enjoy it and feel God's arms around her as she wears it! Yes, Rendezvous makes the best pastries! Ha! How funny! Smart lady - I understand why you avoid the pastry shop - and I'm glad Rendezvous is on the other side of town! Thank you for stopping by!

  3. Yum - that must be one fine bakery. I was drooling here in SoCal. Beautiful shawl for a wonderful ministry.
