February 2: Matthew 8:8, Fun Fiber Projects, Literary Life and Finding Joy

Hello There,

Thank you for stopping in!  I appreciate your time!  Last week was productive - I even pulled out a project that was in serious danger of becoming a UFO!  I pulled it out yesterday and we're back on track.  I'll be sharing later on that one.

January 25: Psalm 23:2, Fun Fiber Projects, Literary Living and Finding Joy

Hello There,
Thank you for visiting!  I hope you all are doing well.   Are you all having a difficult time inserting and positioning photos on your blog?  I am having such a hard time that it almost takes all the fun out of blogging! While writing my  last post,  (and in the future), I just decided to do the best I can and simply focus on connecting with you!  😊
I hope you have enjoyed your fiber fun projects, literary lives and snow - if you got some!  Our weather has been cold and I have both sinus and ear infections and allergies, so I've been hibernating, stitching and reading!

January 16: John 16:33, Fun Fiber Projects, Literary Living and Finding Joy

Hello There,
I hope you all are doing well.  This week started well and ended peaceful with tears in between.  As you will read, projects were finished, books were read and even some joy was found.  My precious Daddy's health has declined and he may soon be on palliative care and then hospice.  We've known this was coming, but...ug...it's hard.
I'll be making monthly trips to San Diego to be with him and blog posts may be irregular.  Hopefully I can blog at least bi-weekly.
We have found time to laugh, especially when I'm with my family and grandbabies.  They are my precious joy and blessing.
So, please, grab a cup of your favorite beverage, relax and enjoy this week's post!
Love,
Patricia

January 8: Psalm 34:18, Fun Fiber Projects, Literary Living and Finding Joy

Hello There,
It's been a while, hasn't it?  Life has been...challenging, but as my wise younger sister says, "We'll figure it out, and "We're going to be ok." In the last year and a half, priorities have shifted and, though I set goals, deadlines have been thrown out the window.  😊 It's actually quite liberating.

I'm not sure how Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer, or life for that matter, will evolve, but, "We'll figure it out and will be ok."

Hello There,
Happy Fourth of July to all of you who celebrate!  I hope you have fun and are all safe this weekend!
Thank you all for your prayers for Elisa.  She passed away about 10 days ago surrounded by her loving family.  Please remember to pray for her family as services will be in about a week.

Since February, our family and close friends have been experiencing great difficulties ranging from deaths, illnesses, crises and life threatening situations.  We have been supporting each other with love and I dearly want to continue supporting these precious ones free from time constraints.  I also need to find time to rest beside the still waters.  Alas, I am learning that I cannot do it all.

The Lord is calling me to rest beside the still waters for a season.
