- Prioritize a healthier lifestyle with the goal of moving away from at least one medication.
- Continue sewing from my stash, only purchasing new fabric when necessary to complete a specific project.
- Finish my "Quilt As You Go" quilt. It’s currently about 20% finished!

For the director of music. With stringed instruments.
1Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger
or discipline me in your wrath.
2Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint;
heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.
3My soul is in deep anguish.
How long, Lord, how long?
4Turn, Lord, and deliver me;
save me because of your unfailing love.
5Among the dead no one proclaims your name.
Who praises you from the grave?
6I am worn out from my groaning.
All night long I flood my bed with weeping
and drench my couch with tears.
7My eyes grow weak with sorrow;
they fail because of all my foes.
Just look at the list he made of all that God does for him!
- rebukes him
- disiplines him
- has mercy on him
- heals him
- delivers him
- saves him
- God has unfailing love for him
- the Lord hears his weeping.
- the Lord hears his cries for mercy;
- the Lord accepts his prayer

I am also working on a healthier lifestyle. I have been working toward this goal for several years, but now I have to watch my cholesterol, so that meant a further tweak in my eating habits. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI will join in to the chorus of those of us who are working on a healthy lifestyle. I want to work on spending quiet time every day and in getting out in the beauty of this world.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is so beautiful. Each hexagon is unique.
Many of us seem to be prioritizing healthier lifestyles (again) this year! For me that means paying closer attention to our diets, getting out for a walk every day, and making sure I set aside some quiet time for reading. I'm not stitching as much these days, but your work is beautiful! Hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteHmm I would imagine The Bell Jar might be tough reading, I don't know why but I've always avoided it.
ReplyDeleteI also found Rental Person to be fascinating.
ReplyDeleteThe pattern for the pincushion looks so pretty, as does your Fields of Fancy flower.
Wishing you a lovely week
We talk about eating healthier and starting up our walking again, but keep putting it off! We are good at repairing our grands' toys, right? I repaired my 6yo grandson's "Baby"(I think it is a dragon) when he was here over the weekend. I had to add fabric to give him a neck again - lol!
ReplyDeleteYou always have such wonderful projects going on. I enjoy seeing your progress. Good luck with your goals. Hope you have a blessed week.

I'm making a diet/workout plan right now, I eat out 3-4 times a week and the orders are usually not exactly what I ordered, especially at Jersey Mikes. I can make it myself and it will be the way I want it. Taco Bell and Chick Fil A never get the order wrong so I'll still order from them sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI'm a member of the Silver Sneakers at my local YWCA but I have a treadmill and exercise bike and a lot of workout dvd's so I'm able to work out here too.
Every time I see your crafts, which I love, it reminds me of my mom which brings back so many good memories of my crafty mom, so thank you!
I had a Free Little Library in my Amazon cart and the next time I want to look at it it said they were out. Now I have to hunt for another one.
I'm starting to eat healthier too and not eating out for lunch so often.
ReplyDeleteI love your crafts and Bible Verses, and the toys.
That cat is so cute!
I want to put a Little Free Library in the front of my house. The one I really wanted is out. I guess I waited too long t
The road from grief is a slow walk but eventually the path widens and you begin to let back in all the little joys of day-to-day life. You are right, Leanna's prompts are always a good reminder to reflect on those things. I'm sure the glee your grandchildren had when you gave them the patched stuffies was one of those! The "Sit and Sew" sounds like it was fun. I recently returned from visiting my MIL and we were supposed to go to one with her (well, our) guild on my last day there but it was cancelled because the venue it was to be held in had no heat. I was sorry to miss out on that but now can live vicariously through yours, LOL! I'm loving your FOFF progress, I have to read back on how you started on that....
ReplyDeletelove the "waking up from a nap" yep... Your flower EPP project is gorgeous. Thank you as always for encouraging us to keep going, and the book reviews.... love LeeAnna
