I love how my focus has increased with the "Finish, Focus and Prep" methodology I use with my Fiber Arts. Consequently, I'm going to apply that to my reading life with a bit of a twist. The categories will be "Finish, Focus and Next".
This should help with my "Backburner Reads" which are books I started, enjoyed, but lost focus.

How wonderful that your daughter is labeling your Dad's books with the Dewey Decimal System! I love the string potholder and it just gave me an idea for next time our littlest grands come for a visit, they will love strings.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of "graphic", but I can handle blood or physical ailments more than s*x - lol!
I have browsed through a few graphic novels but the format doesn’t really satisfy me personally.
ReplyDeleteLove the tote bag!
Wishing you a happy reading week
Most of the books you acquired are new to me. I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeletePatti Callahan Henry is an author I want to try! Glad to know you enjoyed another of her books.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the finished bag. And thank you for sharing Tozer. Yesterday we were reminded that we shouldn't just pray about an "enemy", but we need to pray FOR them. There was an audible response within the body at church. I appreciate your participation in Sew & Tell.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had fun with the grandbabies! My kid is on fall break this week. She's already causing chaos in the house. This place is a disaster. :)
ReplyDeleteYour mesh tote looks awesome - hooray for finishing it! I just put that Patti Callahan Henry book on hold at the library. Thanks for the recommendation!
ReplyDeleteLove Tozer's approach. It is so true. Nice projects. Do you have an Etsy store? Great books this week. Hope you enjoy them, Patricia.

I've read a few graphic novels over the years. I like them but don't think of reading them often.
ReplyDeleteMary @Bookfan
God wants that personal relationship with us! I haven't read or listened to a book recently but have now checked out a Joyce Meyer book in the cloud library. I look forward to getting it started.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing your shrugs!
ReplyDeleteI love it that you have been using a technique, Finish, Focus and Prep, that works so well for you.
ReplyDeleteI never thought about teaching my grandkids to sew, but now I'm thinking about ways I might be able, even with my limited skills, to do that.
How wonderful to have time with the grands. What a good idea to get your Daddy’s books catalogued. Love your bag, the pot holders, your book suggestions and the scripture. Thank you for sharing on To-Do Tuesday. 🤗 Carol
