Philippians 2:19. Hexagon Afghan Progress!

Philippians 2:19
Scripture

Observation
As Paul begins to discuss his future, he talks about sending Timothy to them. Obviously he expected Timothy to return as he staed that he expected to be cheered when he received news about them.

Application
Hearing news about those we love is so special!  I can feel Paul's eagerness for news about his beloved Philippians!

I used to send cards or little notes to my loved ones all the time.  Now, for some reason, the osteoarthritis hurts when I hold a pen and write more so then when sewing/crocheting.

This held me back from sending notes.

Sometimes, I have to remember to focus on God and not the problem.

So, I've just started sending typed notes and inserting them into my cards.

But, greater is He within me
than He that is in the world!  (1 John 4:4)

Prayer
LORD, thank You for showing me a way to keep encouraging others via notes.  I can sense Paul's desparation? eagerness? for news of the Philippians.  How grateful I am that, today, we have so many different forms of communication!  Thank you for showing me how I can still write notes!  There are others with worse arthritits than I and they manage to live full lives.  This is by Your grace!  Thank you, Jehovah Jireh, for providing a way for us all to communicate and encourage one another - in spite of obstacles!  Again, my LORD, You are amazing!

Hexagon Afghan
There are a couple of knitting and crochet linky parties on Tuesdays, so I'm thinking that's when I'll share my progress on my Hexagon Afghan inspired by Camellia Rose's pattern!

Here's my progress this week!

Do you see the fence in the background?  That's the one it was hanging on last week in this picture:

As you can see, it's gotten so much bigger!  I'm really making more progress by crocheting these hexagon flowers and then attaching them to the afghan.  Honestly, I don't know if it really makes a difference, but it does to me!  :)

Have a great day!

    1. Yes, I crocheted before I started quilting. I still love it which means I have two stashes, yarn and fabric, two piles of UFOS and two sets of WIPs! :) Thank you for stopping by and commenting! Take care!
